The NASW Arkansas Chapter is excited to offer our 46th Annual Conference at the Little Rock Marriott March 12-14, 2025 for social workers and allied professionals. We take pride in our ongoing commitment to deliver engaging and educational conferences by selecting speakers and presenters to cover a broad array of clinical and systemic issues that face our clients and communities. Highlights of This Year’s Conference
It is our pleasure to welcome Dr. Amanda Baranski, LCSW as our opening keynote speaker presenting AI and Social Work: Use in Practice, Ethics, and the Future. As president of NASW Colorado and co-chair of the JEDI Committee, Dr. Baranski is a leader in advancing ethical AI integration in social work. A faculty member at Metropolitan State University of Denver, she is shaping the field’s future while driving critical conversations on AI, mental health, and social work ethics.
Dr. Arthur Romano will join us as a keynote speaker on Thursday, presenting Courageous Leadership in Turbulent Times. Dr. Romano will explore how to deepen the study and practice of courageous leadership, drawing on nonviolence principles and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This impactful session will inspire attendees to take strategic, compassionate action in the face of adversity.
