Join us for Nature’s Palette Part 3, as we journey through the seismic spire landscapes of Vasquez Rocks. This breathtaking scene features stunning desert terrain, unique geological formations, and rich history with Hollywood as many iconic movies have been filmed here.
This event is an opportunity to connect with nature through mindful observation and appreciation, all while experiencing the beauty of Vasquez Rocks’ diverse ecosystem. Whether you’re an avid hiker, a photography enthusiast, or simply seeking tranquility in nature, this adventure promises to inspire and refresh. The trek will conclude with a sunset appreciation on top of the iconic Vasquez Rock pinnacles. .
WHEN: Saturday, March 1st 2025
WHERE: Vasquez Rocks | Agua Dulce, CA (Exact meetup location will be emailed to registeret attendees)
MEET TIME: 3:00PM
START HIKE: 3:15 PM Sharp!
PARKING: Free parking in the middle of the park
DISTANCE: 3.4 Miles Total
TIME: approx 2-2.5 hours (total experience including taking breaks, photos, etc)
DIFFICULTY: Moderate Level
ELEVATION GAIN: 511 feet (amount of feet you climb)
ROUTE TYPE: Loop
THINGS TO BRING: Water, Snacks , Layers, Hat, Sunscreen, hiking shoes/trail runners, and GOOD VIBES (An email a few days prior to the event will be sent with more details on “Things to Bring” + more updates). There is NO SHADE on this trail.
