THINGS THAT MOVE at the MAYBECK
Nate Brenner, Ben Goldberg, and Hamir Atwal develop a group improvisation based on the implementation of personal musical vocabulary in fluid relationship with elements being deployed. THINGS THAT MOVE grows out of Brenner/Goldberg Meditations, a philosophical inquiry by Nate and Ben in the form of hundreds of hours of recorded duets (and as Bob Dylan has related, “shall be released”).
