From San Francisco: 3-Day Yosemite National Park Tour by Bus – California, California
Experience a hike through a Giant Sequoia grove, enjoy leisurely hikes or bike rides, and visit natural landmarks with the assistance of your guide on a 3-day trip from San Francisco.
EXPERIENCE:
Customize your multi-day tour to Yosemite National Park from San Francisco by booking your own hotel accommodation. Enjoy free time to enjoy the park’s wilderness, towering granite cliffs, Giant Sequoias and awe-inspiring waterfalls.
Join our 5-star Yosemite Giant Sequoia Tour to discover the stunning seasonal activities and the history, geology, and wildlife that make Yosemite Valley the crown jewel of U.S. National Parks.
Your adventure begins with a convenient hotel pickup, followed by a scenic drive east through California’s lush San Joaquin Valley and into the rugged Sierra Nevada mountains. As we enter Yosemite Valley, we’ll pause at Tunnel View for breathtaking photos of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall.
After arriving at Valley Lodge (Stop #7), you’ll have free time to explore Yosemite Valley’s many attractions at your own pace. Later, hop on the Valley free shuttle or YARTS bus to reach your hotel, which you’ll book separately.
Spend one or more days enjoying the park before your return day. In spring and summer, activities like hiking, biking, rock climbing, rafting, fishing, or stargazing await. In winter, park rangers can help you plan winter hikes, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tubing, or ice skating, depending on conditions (activities not included).
On your return day to San Francisco, meet our tour vehicle at Stop #7 (Valley Lodge) at the time listed in our confirmation email.
After boarding the vehicle for the journey back to San Francisco, one final highlight awaits: a hike to the stunning Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. Here, you’ll get up close to some of the oldest and largest trees on earth, a humbling experience that shows why they’re the planet’s largest living creatures.
Between November and March, when the trail is not safe due to snow and ice accumulation, we substitute the hike with additional time in Yosemite Valley.
Note: If you are not staying at a hotel within Yosemite Valley, bring only what you can easily carry, as bin space is very limited on the tour vehicle and YARTS shuttles.
Know Before You Go:
A $50 handling fee applies to any luggage item larger than a carry-on brought on the tour bus.
If you’re not staying at a Yosemite Valley hotel, please note that there is no public storage available in Yosemite Valley.
