Want to see one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the USA? With this excursion to Death Valley National Park, discover mountains, dunes and a ghost town…

EXPERIENCE:

At the agreed time, you’ll be picked up at your Las Vegas hotel and driven to Death Valley National Park, a mythical place due to the extreme heat of the summer months. Looking forward to the breathtaking scenery?

After a drive of around two hours, you’ll arrive on site and begin touring the park, making numerous stops for photos and short walks accessible to all. Along the way, you’ll climb to an altitude of over 1,500 m to gaze out over the valley from the Dante’s View belvedere. But you’ll also descend to almost 85 m below sea level to discover the Badwater Basin.

You’ll also see the craggy peaks of the Panamint ranges, which surround these arid landscapes, creating a striking contrast between deep valleys and towering peaks.
At lunchtime, you’ll stop for a picnic: Sandwich or salad, fresh fruit… (option to choose from) and, having regained your strength, head for the famous Mesquite Flat dunes.

After all these discoveries, you’ll head for the ghost town of Rhyolite. Founded in 1904 during the Gold Rush, it reached its peak in 1908 and was suddenly deserted for economic reasons. The surviving buildings from that era make it a veritable open-air museum!

Finally, you’ll make your way back to Las Vegas. After a unique adventure and an insight into the hard life of the region’s first inhabitants, the tour ends at your hotel, ten hours after pick-up.
