Learn how to preserve low-acidic foods using a pressure cooker. Topics covered will include how a pressure cooker works, how to use it safely, foods that can be preserved using this method, and the correct preservation procedure to be successful. Various foods that can be preserved using this method include (but are not limited to) vegetables such as beans and beets, meat products, i.e. chicken and broth, salsa and marinara sauces.
  
This class will be held at the Bayport Public Library, 582 4th St N, Bayport, MN 55003
