Join us for a celebration during Banned Books Week. There will be a silent read-in, letter writing to our representatives, and pizza!
Banned Books Week is a time to celebrate our right to read, as well as advocate against censorship. We will be hosting a silent read-in, followed by writing letters to our representatives and school board members. Libro.fm is also offering a free audiobook for participants! We will also be providing pizza and other refreshments. Bring your own book, or purchase one at the store! Materials will be provided for letter writing.
Children are always welcome, however this will be a more adult-oriented event.
