Food and community for healing connections with self, others, the earth, and the sacred.

The Healing Feast offers food and community for healing connections with self, others, the earth, and the sacred. Singer/songwriter and sacred space facilitator Sari Brown created this monthly series to share nurturing, globally-inspired food that is mindful of the earth, along with deep conversations, uplifting music, and embodied practices of aliveness. This month’s Healing Feast is back at home base in the heart of Michigan’s capitol at Lansing Central UMC, and the theme is Being on Divine Time, about decolonizing and healing our relationship to time and experiencing time as expansive, abundant, and life-giving. The dialogue questions will be: –and how do you feel about that? What needs healing in your relationship to time? How often do you “take your time” and how can you take more of the time you need to be fully alive?

Featured facilitator: Courtney Miller, Anishnabe medicine person, Certified Biofield tuning practitioner, medical massage therapist, personal trainer, activist, water protector and pow-wow dancer. Courtney will share a biofield tuning session blended with her indigenous healing practices and wisdom for a special and rare group healing experience with profound benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual health.
