From Bossa to the Bone: Brazilian Jazz with Along for the Ride at Lakewood – Lakewood, CA

Dear Friends of Casa Arjona,

Our Casa Arjona season is coming to a close, and we invite you to celebrate with us at our Grand Finale Concert on Sunday, October 5th at 5:00 PM. This will be an unforgettable evening filled with music, artistry, and community.

For this closing night, the house band Along for the Ride will shine with a spectacular lineup of guest musicians:

Mark Isbell – dazzling on saxophone
Marcelo Bucater – audience favorite, returning on drums
Leo Testoni – a fresh new talent from Brazil on guitar
Gloria Arjona and Sid Anderson – vocals
Taura Smith – piano
Javier Arjona – bass and band leader

And adding a unique artistic dimension, visual artist Yazmín de la Torre will be creating live drawings throughout the evening, harmonizing beautifully with the upcoming Día de los Muertos and Halloween celebrations.
