Celebrate the culmination of the “Paint the Town Barrington!” Plein Air event at Barrington’s White House with an awards ceremony, public exhibition, and art sale. Local and regional artists will present their plein air creations in a salon-style exhibition, capturing the essence of Barrington’s landscapes and architecture.
Esteemed watercolor artist Dan Danielson will serve as the juror for the afternoon, evaluating the artworks and presenting awards. Danielson, a graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago, has studied under renowned watercolor instructor Irving Shapiro and has exhibited his work in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
Coinciding with the Barrington Wine Walk, guests are invited to enjoy fine wines as they explore the exhibition. This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the artists, appreciate their work, and perhaps acquire a piece to take home.
