The BVIU will host an in person training for any new LEAs or any LEA that needs a refresher for conducting an effective IEP meeting.
The Tac Team will provide a comprehensive workshop for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in school districts on effectively conducting Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. This training will cover key aspects of the IEP process, including legal requirements, best practices for collaboration with parents and educators, goal-setting, progress monitoring, and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education laws. The goal is to equip LEAs with the tools and knowledge necessary to facilitate productive, IEP meetings that promote successful outcomes for students with disabilities.
