We’re teaming up with DC BEER (IG @dcbeer) on behalf of the DC Rape Crisis Center (IG @officialdcrapecrisiscenter) to raise money and awareness in support of survivors of sexual violence—and we’re doing it in true DC style with food, music, community, and plenty of unforgettable moments.

About the DC Rape Crisis Center
The Center exists to support and empower survivors of sexual violence. Individuals who have experienced any form of sexual violence have survived a profound violation and this can impact a person’s relationship with family, friends, partners, work and, importantly, the relationship to the self. At DCRCC we use a survivor centered approach which means intentionally focusing on empowering survivors to regain control over their lives, helping and facilitating choice through sharing knowledge of client’s rights and options, understanding that knowledge is power, respecting the right to self-determination, and highlighting that all forms of oppression are connected. Whether you experienced sexual violence recently or decades ago, it is possible to heal and you are not alone.
