Boot ‘N’ Scoot Country Music Festival at Hi-Lawn – Washington, DC

Yeehaw, y’all!

Hi-Lawn, the expansive 1000- person rooftop bar atop Union Market, is hosting its 3rd annual “Boot ‘N Scoot” – DC’s only country music fest, on Saturday, September 27. The open-air green space will host one long day of country fun from 2-11pm, including live music, line dancing, trick roping, a DJ country dance party, BBQ specials and more.

Kick up your boots to live music from 5-time Wammie award-winning Melissa Quinn Fox, plus other country acts and DJ tunes, and a nighttime wild western dance party. Learn the boot scootin’ boogie with line dancing classes, and hone your lasso skills with trick roping lessons!

For those who work up an appetite at the Hi-Lawn hoedown, guests can chow down at our favorite food pop ups including THE PIT (featuring DC’s own, Capital Q BBQ) for all of your BBQ favorites like smoked meats and sides OR THE CANTEEN for Hi Lawn’s spin on the best of Tex Mex! Then wash it all down with cold beer, whiskey cocktails and themed drinks.

from 7:30-10pm, don your western chic and desert glam for “DC’s Wildest Country Western Dance Party” hosted by DC Stampede. Two-step under the stars to nonstop dance floor hits, with line dancing and country swing overlooking the city skyline.
