We are thrilled to invite you to the 2025 Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Awards Celebration on Wednesday, September 24, at the True Reformer Building in Washington, D.C.
Due to venue security, advance registration is required by Friday, September 19.
This year, amid escalating crises, we’ve witnessed extraordinary resilience: bold worker organizing, new leaders rising up against Trump and his billionaire cronies, and powerful acts of solidarity to protect our immigrant coworkers. Join us as we honor movement leaders driving the fight forward for workers’ rights, economic justice, and a democracy that works for everyone.

This year’s honorees include:
- Former Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su, whose lifelong advocacy for stronger labor protections has changed the lives of countless families and individuals.
- The Sesame Workers Union and OPEIU for their successful organizing efforts that showed the world that “U is for Union!”
- The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and the Federal Unionists Network (FUN) for mobilizing communities to protect the critical services that federal workers provide,and for showing incredible leadership as their collective bargaining rights remain under constant attack.
