Service Project with Tanana Chief Conference at Old Eagles building – Fairbanks, AK

In honor of 9/11 National Day of Service, our region is partnering with Tanana Chiefs Conference(TCC) to help them pack food into 350 food boxes* to be shipped out to elders in 27 villages. This activity will be held on Wednesday September 17, 2025 from 6-9pm, unless finished earlier. The packing takes place at 200 1st Ave Fairbanks, AK 99701 in the old Eagle building downtown. This activity is open to individuals 8 years and older (parents must be present to supervise their children). We’d love to have you join us!

*Elder Nutrition Boxes are packed with various shelf stable foods, like oatmeal, canned salmon, fruit cups, canned chili, trail mix and much more! Once packed, the boxes are stacked onto pallets to be shipped out. Boxes are about 2ft. long x 1.5ft. wide x 8 inches high and weigh about 10 lbs.”
