Join us for an evening of classical music! Opera singer Olivia Genevieve and pianist Farzaneh Yaghmaei will perform works by Debussy, Fauré, and Bellini. Farzaneh will perform solo pieces and Olivia will speak to her experience of opera singing as a mode of healing.
Olivia Genevieve
Olivia grew up singing in choirs, coming to opera through her long-time teacher Carrie Hennessey, falling in love with her approach to exploring the voice. In addition to her performances in Sacramento, she has performed internationally in Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Sweeden.
Farzaneh Yaghmaei
Farzaneh is a master pianist with a masters degree in piano performance. She has performed extensively around the world, both as a solist and as an accompanist at a wide variety of international festivals. With over a decade of teaching experience, she works with students of all ages and skill levels.
