The Art of Nogada: An Evening of Flavor, Legend, and Mexican Elegance

5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

$65 per seat

Step into a culinary journey where history is served warm and flavor speaks in three colors.

Chiles en Nogada, Mexico’s most iconic dish of independence, is more than a recipe; it’s a baroque masterpiece on a plate, with Guadalajara’s flavor.

Enjoy Guadalajara’s most beloved local classic: the torta ahogada. This hearty Mexican sandwich is drowned in a fiery tomato-chile sauce and delivers a bold, unapologetic flavor. Finally, taste the unique Guadalajara tamales with flavorful fillings. And of course, explore the unique aromas of a variety of tequilas in this extraordinary culinary event.

Assorted Aguas frescas, hot tea, coffee and water will also served. Wine and other cocktails can be purchased at Elixir, our Soda Fountain located downstairs.

This culinary program is in partnership with the Kansas City Sister Association.
