In Kenya, primary education is free, but secondary school comes at significant cost — far beyond the means of the families we support. Let’s come together to raise money for:
>> High-school scholarships for dedicated and ambitious students
>> A science lab in Karare, so our students can prepare for national graduation exams
We’re thrilled that Ahmed Kura, who leads KDEF in Northern Kenya, will be joining us. Kura was recently named the #4 Most Influential Kenyan in the Top 100 Kenyans of 2024!
Our keynote speaker is Bill Drunsic, local businessman and philanthropist. Bill and his wife, former KDEF board member Linda Drunsic, have traveled to Kenyan several times to see our work firsthand, and have generously funded the construction of life-saving water projects, classrooms and dorms.
