Guided Ocean Therapy experience at Robert Moses at Robert Moses State Park – Babylon, NY

Join me for a guided OCEAN bathing experience where we will attune to the living ecosystem and dwell in the liminal space where the sand, sea and sky meet.

As a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, I’m offering a special pop-up Ocean Bathing / Ocean Therapy Immersion to help you connect more deeply with the ocean and coastal wildlife. Using gentle forest bathing techniques adapted for the shoreline, we’ll slow down, awaken the senses, and soak in the healing energy of the ocean. It’s a peaceful, meaningful way to say goodbye to summer and enjoy the many health benefits of this beautiful, wild environment.

As we slowly wander along the shore, you’ll experience the added health benefits unique to coastal immersion:

• Negative ions released as waves crash, known to help uplift mood and clear the mind
• Salt in the air that can support respiratory health and skin vitality
• The mineral-rich saltwater that soothes muscles and nurtures the nervous system
• The gentle, life-giving warmth of the sun as it lowers toward the horizon

We’ll explore the sea shores with a meditative awareness and appreciation. Noticing the biodiversity of marine life, while engaging our senses through gentle invitations offered, while we invite and allow the salt air, sound of waves, and vast horizon to restore our body, mind, and spirit.

Bring your curiosity, an open heart, and whatever you need for comfort. No swimming required, just a willingness to be present with the living ocean.

However, I encourage you to wear a swim suit and bring a towel so you are prepared in case the inspiration for a quick dip washes over you!
