EXPERIENCE:

Monument Valley is located within Navajo Nation, also known as Navajoland, an American Indian reservation. With this small-group tour, explore the red-sand desert region with a Navajo guide born and raised in the valley and the surrounding areas. A team takes you through about 28 miles for the 2.5-hour tour (15 miles for 1.5-hour tour; Mystery Valley included in the 3.5-hour tour) of rough terrain, sharing top sights and film locations, and Navajo traditions, history, and stories.

Your tour guided will explain and point out all the rock formations, movie locations, as well as share with you our culture and traditional values. You will be getting on and off the truck to take spectacular pictures of Natural Arches, Anasazi Ruins, Petroglyphs and also optional is a visit to Grandma’s Hogan. The visit at Grandma’s Hogan well include a little demonstration about weaving and the dyeing of wool for our Traditional Navajo Handmade Rugs.
