A full day tour of hiking waterfalls and then visiting Western North Carolina wineries!

 

EXPERIENCE:

This active lifestyle tour operates from Bryson City, NC and involves a total of up to 2 miles of intermediate level hiking at 3 waterfalls and then visiting 3 winery tasting rooms. This experience requires us to pick you up and drop you off at your stay location in Bryson City, NC only and we require a 4 Guest minimum booking please. Participation includes challenging hiking, rock scrambling and bush whacking through forest trails. On the tour, the Guide will provide an interpretive experience including the history of the Great Smoky Mountains, history of the Cherokee Indians and Pioneers who lived in the Smokies, and the fascinating local ecology. Guests can enjoy the wine at each stop and charcuterie style foods can be purchased by guests at the wineries. Tour operates May through Mid-November, starts at 7:45 A.M. and is + ~8 hours.
