You’ll begin this memorable experience by joining your tour guide in a parking lot adjacent to the trailhead, equipped with restrooms. Upon starting the journey, you’ll immediately feel the excitement build as you are quickly immersed in the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our expert guides, seasoned adventurers with a deep love for the great outdoors, will lead you along a scenic river while relaying facts about the rich geological history of the region and the diverse flora and fauna that call these forests home.

As you venture deeper into the wilderness, anticipation starts to build as the sound of rushing water guides the path to some of the largest waterfalls in North Carolina! Witness their sheer power from above before making your way to the base.

Once settled at the base, you’ll have plenty of time to grab a snack, soak in the beauty, and go for a swim! Your guide will provide towels, but make sure you have your bathing suit ready under your hiking clothes!
