Three new exhibitions are now open and included in the ticket:

Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery October 20, 2024- January 12, 2025
This is the first Native-curated exhibition at the MFAH, featuring over 100 historical, modern, and contemporary items in clay. It highlights Pueblo voices and aesthetics, with selections and writings from over 60 members of 21 tribal communities, redefining Native art and history. The exhibition challenges stereotypes and illuminates Pueblo history and contemporary life.

Living with the Gods: Art, Beliefs, and Peoples October 27, 2024- January 20, 2025
This exhibition explores how humanity has expressed spiritual beliefs over 4,000 years, featuring over 200 objects. It includes masterpieces from the MFAH collections and exceptional loans, displayed across 11 galleries covering themes like the cosmos, life, death, and pilgrimage. The exhibition aims to restore the spiritual context of these artworks, fostering a deeper understanding of their original purposes.

Gaugin in the World November 3, 2024- February 16, 2025
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is the only U.S. venue for an ambitious exhibition showcasing 150 works of French Post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin (1848–1903). The exhibition spans six galleries, covering his career from his Impressionist beginnings in Paris to his final years, with a focus on his work in Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands.

Inside three unique buildings, witness art from the Americas, including contemporary Latin American art, plus European and Modern art, as well as work from the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
