To mark the 50th anniversary year of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald, author and expert Rochelle Pennington will tell the story of the loss and how it connects us to our history. Rochelle Pennington has a talent for telling a spellbinding story. She breathes life into the past, making it relevant today. The disaster is one of the best known in the history of the Great Lakes, in part because of the popular Gordon Lightfoot song. Pennington will reveal the story within the events of November 10, 1975. The timing is perfect to honor this piece of Great Lakes shipping history.
