E-bike 2.5 hour Florence hills tour with olive oil tasting – Florence, Italy

EXPERIENCE

Enjoy a scenic e-bike ride through the ancient and narrow Tuscan roads. We will take you on an immersive experience in the Florentine hills (made easy by the E-bikes), cycling along classic Tuscan landscapes surrounded by lush greenery, vineyards, olive trees, and charming tiny roads, as well as unique and unforgettable views over the Renaissance city from the top. Plus, we will visit a local farm to taste some self-produced extra virgin olive oil with fresh bread!

Our adventure begins at our bike depot in the quiet “Oltrarno” area of Florence, where you’ll be equipped by your local guide with an Electric Bicycle and helmet for a ride through the picturesque Tuscan hills, discovering some of the region’s most captivating landscapes just outside Florence, including a visit to the historic town of Pian dei Giullari, once home to the famous scientist Galileo.

As we ride through the countryside, fantastic views along picturesque rural roads, culminate in a visit to the San Miniato al Monte church which offers the most spectacular viewpoint over Florence.

Along the way, we’ll stop at a local farm that is also a restaurant, surrounded by beautiful gardens and the olive orchard. Here we will get to taste their olive oil on fresh bread, while the guide will explain the process of olive harvesting and production of hand-picked extra virgin olive oil.
