BUTTERFLIES – WATCHING – Aosta Valley, Italy

EXPERIENCE

Butterflies are perhaps the most anomalous living beings ever: they spend a part of their life, often the longest, in a shape that many judge repellent, and then turn by charm into one of the most delicate, colorful and beautiful creatures in the sky : life that transforms and plays with colors.

We propose a whole day dedicated to research, observation and classification of butterflies, these our inconsistent and impalpable friends that not only give us joy and wonder, but also perform the important work of pollination, with many other insects.

COSTS
teacher: up to 6 persons 180 Euro / day, after this 20 Euro / person;
during the lesson there is a break for a packed lunch.

PLAN
Arrival in Aosta with your own transport (timetables and train tickets here, and buses here and here);
in front of the train station you take the bus that takes you to the chosen destination;
the excursion lasts about 6 hours – light hiking clothing is required, with waterproof shoes;
in the evening return to Aosta.
