Comedian and actor Mike Epps will bring his “Funny As Ish” Comedy Tour to Mobile March 30! Accompanying Epps is special guest host Earthquake, as well as Tony Rock, George Wallace, Mark Curry.
Epps is generating an extraordinary amount of buzz among his peers for being not only one of the funniest comic actors in town, but also for his burgeoning dramatic talent. He recently wrapped the Amazon feature “Troup Zero” starring opposite Viola Davis, Allison Janney, and Jim Gaffigan, and a Netflix comedy “Dolemite Is My Name” starring opposite Eddie Murphy. Epps can next be seen in the comedy “The Trap,” co-starring Tip “T.I.” Harris and produced by Epps under his NapTown productions along with Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere.
Epps will be joined on stage by some of the biggest names in comedy. Comedian, actor and voice-artist, Earthquake entered America’s households on the classic run of BET’s “Comic View” and HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” and the special series, “One Night Stand.” The “Comedian’s Favorite Comedian” currently hosts his own daily show “Quake’s House” on Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio channel on SiriusXM. Tony Rock has proven to be one of television’s best hosts having played the role of ringleader on HBO’s weekly stand-up comedy series “All Def Comedy,” NBA TV’s “The Warm Up,” along with BET’s “Black Card Revoked” and “Apollo Live,” all while co-starring in his first primetime network series – CBS’ “Living Biblically.” Performing stand-up comedy continues to be Tony’s first love and this year has proven no different. Comedian George Wallace’s credits include “Jericho,” “Think Like a Man Too,” “Funny People,” and “The Ladykillers.” Wallace was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 Soul Train/Centric Comedy All-Star Awards and won. Perhaps best known for starring in his own hit television sitcom “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper,” which ran for five seasons on ABC, and for hosting “Showtime At The Apollo,” comedian, actor, host Mark Curry is packing the laughs as one of the top national touring comedy acts. Curry is currently playing Marcus on Nick At Nite’s new sitcom “See Dad Run.”
