In Person: Hands on Help for New Neighbors at Exodus Refugee Immigration – Indianapolis, IN

Who this In Person Event is for:

Ages 2-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling.

What you’ll be doing:

Join Seeds of Caring for an In Person event at Exodus Refugee Immigration to learn about the experience of refugees and asylum seekers through age-appropriate discussions and activities. Then, helping hands will get busy making cleaning supply kits for our new neighbors supported by Exodus.

Specific instructions:

All supplies will be provided. Families are invited to bring new or freshly laundered gently used cold weather gear (hats, gloves, boots, pants, coats) in any sizes to be distributed by Exodus for new neighbors this Fall and Winter.

Why you'll be asked to donate:

On the next page, you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.

Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.

We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email indy@seedsofcaring.org and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
