August 8, 9, 10, 2025 On Sunday, August 10th, chefs from around the country will smoke, grill and season ribs to perfection during the tasty Rib Cook off this year, 15 grillers will compete for the Best Ribs and Best Sauce title. Each winner will receive a 3ft trophy and bragging rights for the best ribs or sauce. Detroit’s most anticipated event of the summer. The Annual Ribs “N” Soul Festival now has a new name Rib’s R&B Music Festival Weekend. Ribs R&B Music Festival Weekend will host thousands of rib lovers who will eat, drink and shop while enjoying the sounds of Platinum and Grammy award winning artists as well national and local recording artist 2025 line up will be amazing all weekend. On Friday the festivals open at 11:30 am just in time for lunch with drinks and lunch specials.
