Fat Splash is bigger and splashier than ever this year with four summer dates, larger venues, and our first-ever all-ages event! Come cannonball, lounge, and celebrate fat joy in community.

☀️ About Fat Splash
Since 2018, Fat Splash has been a joyful, affirming summer tradition for the plus-size and fat community. Whether you’re showing off your favorite swimsuit, doing a cannonball, soaking up the sun (or shade!), or just vibing in fat community, Fat Splash is all about connection, play, and reclaiming the pool.

This is a private event for the fat community. Come solo or bring friends, reunite with familiar faces, and enjoy an intentional, welcoming space built for us.

☀️ Cake’s 2025 Fat Splash Season

We’re leveling up! New venues this year mean more room, more water features, and more space to lounge, splash, and celebrate.

What’s New This Year?

– More space + upgraded pools
– No DJs this year (but we’ll still have music!)
– All-ages event added (Our 6/22 event only!)
– Pool concession stands for refreshements – open 7:30-8:30PM
– No rain dates – full refunds if canceled due to weather
– Lower ticket price. We’ve worked hard to make these events more afforable.

– Cannonball Contest (sponsored by Solcana Fitness!)
– Photography by Nina Perkins – all attendees get access to photos after the event
– Vendors including Cassandra Snow Tarot, Witch Way Tarot, and Tooth Gems by Leigh.

☀️ 2025 Fat Splash Venues:
We’re at new locations this year! Our 7/12 Fat Splash is at the Saint Louis Park Aquatic Park with a huge outdoor pool that has a zero-depth entry area, two four-story water slides, a diving board (hello, Cannonball Contest!), spray features, and plenty of seating in both sunny and shaded areas. Bonus: outdoor lighting keeps the party going till 10PM!

Accessibility
This venue has lifeguards, zero-entry access, and chair lift. They include bi-gendered locker rooms, family/gender-neutral restrooms, and a variety of seating options. Lounge chairs have 300lb limits (ugh, we know!). You’re welcome to bring your own chair if that’s more comfy for you!

Weather/Cancellation Policy
Fat Splashes will proceed as planned unless the pool is officially closed due to weather. Unlike in past years, we will not be scheduling rain dates. If an event is canceled, all ticket holders will receive a full refund and are warmly encouraged to join us at a future Splash
For this event, any updates will be shared by the morning of the event day.

☀️ Ticket Info + Policies:

• Tickets are $26.
• Tickets are required for all attendees.
• Tickets will not be sold at the door.
• All ticket sales are final.
• If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your tickets via Eventbrite’s website or app to a different date or to a different person.
• Tickets are only available through Eventbrite. They are not available in-store or on Cake’s website. Store credit or gift cards cannot be used to purchase Fat Splash tickets.
• By purchasing tickets, you assume your own risk and liability in attending this event and agree to hold Cake Plus-Size Resale, event venues, and all involved parties harmless.

☀️ Event Guidelines and Reminders

• No alcohol or drug use.
• No glass containers.
• This event is 18+.
• Keep snacks (what you bring or concessions you purchase) in the picnic areas and not on the pool deck.
• Clean up after yourself and others.
• Be respectful of the space and everyone present.
• Follow lifeguards’ instructions and be respectful of their authority.
• If you’re not fat, please only attend if you’re with a fat friend.
• We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you don’t follow these guidelines.
• Stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, and take care of yourself in this environment!
