AYMS West LA & LA LACMA Latin Sounds Salsa Picnic at Los Angeles County Museum of Art – Los Angeles, CA

Let’s dance! Join the LA & West LA chapters of Amigas Y Mas at LACMA Latin Sounds! LACMA Latin Sounds is a summer event series with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. we’ll enjoy a live outdoor concert, dancing and a picnic.

This event is a part of the Verano Será Bonito summer event series with Amigas Y Mas Social Club.

LACMA Latin Nights are open to the public and do not require a ticket. However, this gathering at the event is only open to members of Amigas Y Mas who identify as Latina women.

What to expect:

*The event is held outdoors at LACMA in the Dorothy Collis Brown amphitheater.

*We will find a spot on the lawn for our picnic. We’ll have a pink balloon so you can spot us.

*There will be a live salsa band and a dance floor for dancing.*The main parking option at LACMA is the Pritzker Parking Garage on 6th street. There are other paid lots in the area, as well as metered parking.

What to bring:

*Snacks, drinks & picnic food to share

*A blanket or cushion to sit on

Event Expectations and Disclaimers

Zero Tolerance on Excessive Alcoholism:

Amigas y Mas Social enforces a zero tolerance policy on excessive alcohol consumption. Please drink responsibly. Inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event and possible ban from AYMS.

Non-Refundable Events Policy:

All event registrations are non-refundable. Once your RSVP is confirmed, cancellations cannot be accommodated.

Organization Fee Statement:

A small organization fee of $5 is collected for each event to sustain our community and support future activities. Thank you for your contribution!

No-Show Policy:

Effective immediately, after two no-shows, you will be unable to RSVP for the next Amigas y Mas Social (AYMS) event. This policy is being implemented out of consideration for our chapter presidents and amigas who may have missed an opportunity to attend due to limited spots. We will be keeping track of no-shows to ensure fairness and accountability.

If you can no longer attend an event, please cancel 48 hrs prior

Please be courteous to host leads and only RSVP if you are sure you are coming! We need accurate head counts for planning.
