103rd Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial at Red Rock Park – Church Rock, NM
Don’t miss this upcoming event in Church Rock, NM. Happening on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Red Rock Park. Doors open at 8:00 AM.
From a simple art exhibition, Native dances, and trading in Gallup in the early 1920s, the Ceremonial grew to global prestige alongside the famed Route 66 which runs through the heart of Gallup, New Mexico.
Over a century later we welcome you to the 103rd Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial! Join us at Red Rock Park just east of Gallup, New Mexico. Our event proudly carries on modern versions of the classic attractions Ceremonial was built upon.
Our juried art show carries on the name of “exhibit hall” as a nod to the old art exhibition. There you will find one of a kind pieces from talented artists from across the Nation. Pieces are judged by various experts in their fields and awarded prize money as well as the coveted Ceremonial trophy ribbons. Browse the stunning works and treat yourself to a handcrafted item to add to your collection.
The dances in the parades, Marland Aitson Amphitheater presented by NTEC, and Traditional Night Dance Performances are all unique in their own way and surely can not be missed. Feel the beat of the drum by visiting our contest pow wow and gourd dance.
Stemming from cultural songs, the Navajo Social Song & Dance is a vibrant experience. Competitors of all ages gather to compte for cash and prizes in dress, singing, and dance styles.
The thrilling rodeo is a fan favorite! The junior rodeo starts the week with a fun night rodeo, Iron Cowgirl Challenge, and the famous Open Rodeo leading up to our Old School Days Rodeo. Don’t miss any of the action.
