We are excited to welcome you on Thursday, July 31 as you check in at the Newport Harbor Island Resort, the only resort-style hotel in Newport. Now fully renovated and perched on its own private island, the hotel is a perfect home base for a weekend of jazz and coastal luxury. Take a dip in one of the pools, book a spa treatment, or enjoy a scenic bike ride before meeting fellow WBGO travelers at our Thursday evening welcome reception. There, you’ll connect with WBGO staff, receive your festival tickets, and get your orientation for your weekend of great music and fun!
On Friday, the legendary Newport Jazz Festival begins!
Each festival day, the hotel provides complimentary roundtrip water taxi service directly to the festival entrance. As a WBGO guest, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to our VIP Shade Tent—your private oasis throughout the weekend.
Newport Harbor Island Resort
This luxurious property pairs timeless charm with modern amenities. Whether you unwind in the heated indoor pool or the saltwater outdoor pool, hop on a complimentary bike, or reserve a spa treatment, it’s the ideal setting to relax after a day of music. Evening entertainment continues with fine dining or cocktails on the fire-table-lit deck—where festival artists often mingle and even perform surprise sets!

- Four (4) nights at the official hotel for festival musicians and VIPs

- General Admission tickets for all 3 days of the festival

- Self-parking (Valet parking available for additional cost through WBGO Travel & Events)

- Shuttle to/from downtown Newport

Please note: Public ferry passes to the festival site, on-site festival parking, and transportation to/from Newport are not included in the package price.
