SHINE U: Maker’s Edition – The Art of Relief Print Making! at House of Shine – Grapevine, TX
Don’t miss this upcoming event in Grapevine, TX. Happening on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at House of Shine. Doors open at 10:00 AM.
Spark creativity. Try something new. Learn from a young entrepreneur.
SHINE U: Maker’s Edition is a hands-on workshop series designed to help students explore their creativity, discover new hobbies, and learn from real student entrepreneurs who’ve been in their shoes. Each session highlights the “H,” “I,” and “E” of our SHINE Framework—Hobbies, Interests & Irritants, and Experiences—helping young makers uncover what excites them and why it matters.
Even better? It’s a chance to get inspired for our 8th Annual Holiday Artisan Market Ft. Student Entrepreneurs on November 8th, where students can take what they’ve learned and turn it into something worth sharing—or even selling.
Explore the power of print as student artist Izabella New guides participants through the timeless, hands-on process of relief print-making.
In this expressive and skill-building session, Izabella—a junior at Timber Creek High School and passionate creator—will introduce students to the rich history and techniques of print-making. Participants will discover how this ancient art form can become a modern outlet for personal storytelling, creativity, and design.
Students will:
- Learn about the global roots and evolution of print-making
- Use real tools and materials to design and press their own prints
- Connect their personal interests (like fashion, art, or nature) to creative expression
- Walk away with handmade prints—and a deeper appreciation for the art of making
All materials are provided. No experience necessary!
Please note: Each class requires a minimum of 8 participants to run and this class welcomes all ages!
