Distinguished actor, writer, and director Ruben Santiago-Hudson sits down for a community discussion moderated by Support Black Theatre founding Executive Director, Sophina Brown. This timely dialogue explores how cultural ritualsâinherited and reimaginedâcan be vehicles for resistance, and how our history informs strategies for power building today. ECHOES OF US is a short series of curated monologues from writers spanning the African Diaspora including Pearl Cleage, Mfoniso Udofia, Richard Wesley, Erin Michelle Washington, Monica White Ndounou, Fati McKinnies, Gabrielle Jackson, and more! This creative expression of Blackness is a unique live experience that speaks to the evolving nature of our lived experiences and transcends across generations.
