Die Walküre, Richard Wagner’s second installment of his epic Ring cycle, tells the tale of a family in crisis. Valkyrie Brünnhilde, daughter of Wotan, is faced with a devastating choice: betray her beloved father and face an uncertain future, or follow her heart.
Featuring a splendid cast of singers from Kansas City and beyond, this epic story and legendary music will thrill and inspire you within the majestic walls of the historic St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
The production will include two thirty-minute intermissions between Acts I-II and II-III. Refreshments will be available for purchase in the parish hall.
