Don’t miss this upcoming event in North Kingstown, RI. Happening on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Smith’s Castle. Doors open at 6:00 PM.
Learn some history of Madeira and its importance to Colonial Rhode Island at Smith’s Castle. Taste a variety of cheeses and fine Madeira.
Along with Madeira wine we will also be serving Poncha, a frothy cocktail made with sugar cane rum, honey, and fresh citris juice. Fine cheeses, honeycakes, and homemade colonial style crackers will also be served. Explore colonial history as if you were really there by walking through the castle hearing from our garbed docents as they take you back to the 1700s.
