Join us for an unforgettable evening with Bill Heid, a master of jazz, blues, funk, and the Hammond B-3 organ, whose decades-long career has taken him across continents and deep into the heart of American music. From the clubs of Pittsburgh’s storied Hill District to sessions with blues royalty like Koko Taylor and Fenton Robinson, Bill brings with him a lifetime of soul-soaked stories told through sound.

Known for his gritty yet sophisticated style, Heid’s playing is steeped in the raw energy of the blues, the groove of funk, and the fire of hard bop. With recordings on iconic labels like HighNote/Savant, Black Magic, and Alligator Records — and tours that have spanned Japan, Europe, and U.S. State Department showcases in Asia and Africa — his artistry is as worldly as it is deeply rooted.
