Girl Choir Presents: I Give You A Song at Sunshine Cathedral MCC – Fort Lauderdale, FL

For two decades, the Girl Choir of South Florida has been a place where voices unite to create something greater than the sum of their parts. Join us for I Give You A Song, our 20th-anniversary spring concert, as we celebrate the music, memories, and friendships that define our choir. This special program features a stunning variety of music—spanning genres, cultures, and languages, from Greek and Finnish melodies to songs in Bemba and English—selected with input from alumni and current singers.

At the heart of the program is the world premiere of a newly commissioned piece by composer Mariana Romero Serra, with lyrics by alumna Lillian Rogers, written to honor the transformative experience of being in the choir. As always, we will close with I Give You A Song, the piece that has ended every spring concert for 20 years, a cherished tradition uniting past and present.
