Lauren Caldwell, known professionally and artistically as Caldy, is a versatile and accomplished performer whose musical journey began at eight with the Opera Idaho Children’s Chorus and her school choir. From that early start, Lauren’s passion for music expanded, and she quickly became a prominent figure in the Treasure Valley music scene through singing and acting through her classical training and upbringing in music.

Over the past six years, Lauren has focused primarily on community engagements, solidifying her reputation as a multifaceted artist. She spent three years performing with the cover band Epic Union, entertaining audiences throughout Idaho at venues ranging from lively bars to private events and weddings. More recently, she has been performing with The Rocking Horse Medicine Show through the Scorpion Entertainment Company, where she collaborates with guest artists to pay tribute to iconic musicians nationwide. Additionally, Lauren has contributed her talents as a member of the Natalie Soma Band over the past year.

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in music education, specializing in voice. She brings her performance skills and passion for teaching to the music community. As an educator, she teaches elementary music and offers private voice lessons, sharing her knowledge and fostering the next generation of musicians.

As an artist, Caldy blends genres like rock, pop, jazz, acoustic, and indie to create a unique and engaging sound. While her gigs are primarily covers, she is a songwriter who has also put out originals.
