Hailed by the Nashville Tennessean alongside Johnny Winter as a “blues master of the first and highest degree,” Montgomery has toured and jammed with icons including Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, and The Allman Brothers. In addition to fronting his powerhouse band for over 40 years–featuring all-stars David Hull, George McCann, and Marty Richards–he has played with the Blues Brothers and featured in the film Delta Rising. Most recently, he produced the acclaimed, Ken Burns Prize finalist documentary Bonnie Blue: James Cotton’s Life In The Blues. Montgomery continues to bring unmatched authority and dynamic energy to every stage.
