Our backpack and school supply drive is expanding! In addition to FREE backpacks and school supplies, we’re excited to offer:

• 💇‍♀️ Free Haircuts kids of Single Moms (Register separately—space is limited)

We’re making it easier than ever for single moms to prepare their kids for a strong start to the school year—all in one place.

✏️ Backpack & School Supplies

We have FREE school supplies available for children of single moms! Single Mom Strong wants to be sure your child has everything they need to head back to school!

Register to receive one backpack per child (limit three per family, while supplies last) then head over to 500 Arden Way – Sacramento, CA 95815 on Saturday, July 26. You will be able to select age-appropriate items. Children will choose from binders, folders and notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, erasers, scissors, glue and more. A volunteer will be present to distribute the items, making this a quick and easy pick up!

The details: Backpacks MUST be picked up at this distribution event. Those that are not present for pickup will forfeit their right to a backpack or supplies. To qualify, your family must be registered to receive Single Mom Strong services (which means you’ve completed a one-page online form — it takes 1 minute!). A registration form will be emailed to all families who register for this event. There is no purchase necessary and no obligation. All children of single mothers are welcome to receive this benefit.

THIS TICKET DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU TO A BACKPACK. YOU MUST HAVE REGISTERED YOUR CHILD(REN) AS EXPLAINED ABOVE. Please watch for the registration email.

👕 Kids’ Clothing Swap – Donations Open Now! 🧦

Your kids outgrow clothes fast—why not swap what no longer fits for something that does?

We’re now accepting new and gently used kids’ clothing for our Single Mom Strong Kids’ Clothing Swap! Donate now, and Shop July 26. This is a great opportunity to refresh your child’s wardrobe without spending a dime—just in time for the new school year.

✨ How It Works:

• Anyone can donate kids’ clothes. Spread the Word!
• Single moms who donate will receive a ticket to shop at the swap and pick out clothes that fit their children.

🎟 Donate 1 bag = swap for 1 bag on event day🎟 Donate 2+ bags = swap for up to 5 bags on event day

Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
