Bold, brazen, beautiful and binary-bashing Drag Kings take center stage to
compete and celebrate at the biggest, best and longest-running Drag King
Contest in the world.
Come bust a nut while we deconstruct the patriarchy that be –
This year’ s theme: No Kings but Drag Kings.
This fierce and fun-fueled competition is filled with head-to-head, two-fisted
tomfoolery complete with dazzling makeup and costumes, larger than life
pulsating pelvises, crowns, gowns, clowns and hounds.

Special Guest Star: WANG NEWTON, cheeky and charismatic king from NYC,host of WangTV and jaunty judge on King of Drag.

The SF Drag King Contest will benefit Rocket Dog Rescue and PAWS (Pets Are
Wonderful Support). PAWS is a volunteer-based organization that provides for
the comprehensive needs of companion animals for low-income persons with
HIV/AIDS and other disabling illnesses, in affiliation with the Shanti Project.

that save dogs from death row at over-crowded shelters and finds them loving,
happy homes. Now in it’s 24th year, RDR is stronger than ever, and has saved
the lives of over 35,000 animals. At risk youth have a strong presence at their
