Hosted at the beautiful 1935 Art Deco gem that is Verdi Club in San Francisco, we invite all attendees to don their most inspired eco- attire—in a dreamy masquerade that playfully elevates eco fashion, imagination, and the future we’re here to build together. Think: bespoke, vintage, thrifted opulence—saris and kimonos, bustles made of upcycled splendor, cultural memory, and dreams of a harmonious tomorrow.

As creatives, fashion is something we’ve always understood. It’s an empowering expression of our stylistic and political choices—a way of literally and beautifully wearing our hearts on our sleeves.

Imagine an Emerald city of tomorrow, where the dream is green. What becomes possible when you see the world through emerald lenses, like a gardener nurturing your peers and all that lives on this beautiful planet? For the masquerade, envision your inner hero and embody all that you wish for the future we share together. Play a character if you wish—what is their name for the evening?

It is a masquerade, after all.

Wear your treasured pieces—be they from other cultures, other times, or dreams of the future—made more beautiful by the stories they carry.

A circle of harpists will open the “portal” for the evening and then live music will flow alongside fashion artists, movement artists, and wordsmiths waxing poetic on a future we can still choose. Professional Photographers will be in the midst, as will creative misfits and eco games. Guests are invited to peruse and support a curated Bay Area art show, connect with local handmade vendors, and savor lovely international bites—all while envisioning what becomes possible when we bring our unique skills and creativity together.

An artful and playful event that redefines eco fashion as elevated, visionary, and culturally resonant.

Not just patchwork or taupe bamboo, but garments rooted in stories, soul, and symbolism. We invite designers and attendees to explore themes inspired by cultural repair traditions like Japanese Sashiko and Kintsugi, as well as globally informed, future-forward aesthetics like Solarpunk.

Think: a Bay Area Met Gala- esque art party with heart!—for the planet, for the people, and for the creative spirit of this community.
