Secret Society: Nem + JLittle + Huitoni + DJInTheWorks + Loopacabra at The Midnight PDX & The SIX Music Venue. – Portland, OR

Secret Society is a party series curated by Loopacabra, an American house music producer and Beatport charting artist.  

We are incredibly lucky to have two rising stars in the global house music scene, Nem and JLittle, headlining this limited capacity event.  

Nem is a San Francisco-based house music DJ and artist on the rise to stardom.  Fresh off the heels of a chart topping #1 release on Beatport (Doordasher EP – #1 Tech House #1 Bass House) and the honor of being placed on John Summit’s Experts Only lineup in Lake Tahoe, Nem is having a moment.  

Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Nem began his music career in 2007 and never looked back.  His musical productions exemplify the artist’s immense passion for house music grounded in groovy, punchy basslines and heavy synths.  Beyond his personal productions, he is also one of the label bosses for SoundProof Records.  

Nem can be regularly found on lineups at 1015 Folsom, The Midway, Audio, and many other San Francisco clubs.  In addition to Experts Only, he has also graced the stage at Northern Nights, Fresh Start, and many other high profile events.  

He has shared the stage with acts such as Walker & Royce, Gorgon City, John Summit, Chris Lorenzo, Green Velvet, Gordo, Riva Starr, J.WORRA, Deeper Purpose, AC Slater, Kyle Watson, Shouse, Galantis, Hugel, Lee Foss, Loco Dice, Pete Tong, Meduza, Claude Von Stroke, Eldebrook, Joshwa, Cloonee, and many others.  In addition, his original productions have enjoyed support from Bob Sinclair, Roger Sanchez, Bingo Players, Fedde LeGrand, Freejak, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Night Service Radio [CID] and many more.

JLittle is a house music DJ and artist based in San Francisco.  She has risen quickly since beginning her DJ career in 2021.  She is a label boss for Soundproof Records as well as its corresponding event and production company Soundproof.  

Known for her captivating, high-energy performances, JLittle has played at virtually every high profile club and event space in San Francisco, including The Mint, Public Works, Great Northern, Temple, Audio, The Midway, and 1015 Folsom.  In addition, she has played at Experts Only, Outer Limits Festival, Splash House Festival, and Burning Man, in addition to countless other events.

She has shared the stage with John Summit, Chris Lake, Lilly Palmer, Cloonee, Matilda, Hugel, James Hype, Meduza, Peggy Gou, Gordo, Sosa, Chris Lorenzo, Odd Mob, Hayden James, AC Slater, Sonny Fodera, Green Velvet, Duke Dumont, Yellow Claw, J. Worra, Lee Ross, CID, VNSSA, HoneyLuv, Biscits, Alok, S!CK!CK and many, many others.

Loopacabra is an American musician and DJ.  His productions span a range of electronic music and often defy genre.  He has been playing music since childhood and started releasing albums in 2012 under the moniker NOJESUS, a duo that he formed with his best friend Mummyfingaz. In 2016 he commenced a solo career that within a few short years had him performing for thousands at clubs, festivals, and Burning Man.  In 2021 Loopacabra and frequent collaborator Mienne joined Brazilian bass house label Muzenga Records for a series of releases. In 2023 the pair teamed up with rapper [E]mpress for the High Freq Vibe EP, which was released on Feral One Records and broke into the Beatport top ten in several different categories.  

He is known for his high energy music and has performed alongside artists such as Bijou, Ghastly, Justin Jay, Justin Martin, J.Phlip, Malaa, Matroda, Nala, Sonny Fodera, TOKiMONSTA, Tycho, Walker & Royce and many others.  Loopacabra’s credits include releases on Brazil’s Muzenga Records and Seattle’s Feral One Records.

Huitoni: Hailing from Richmond, California, Ricardo aka Huitoni has been moving crowds since the age of 15. Named after the Nahuatl word for “to leap,” Huitoni brings that same energy to every set—bridging deep roots, sharp skills, and a fierce love for the craft. Expect bold beats, boundary-pushing blends, and a sound that always jumps forward.
