Hi, it’s me Ryan Kudasik.

I frequently think about my childhood on Tanya Drive in the 80s and 90s. What a special time and place to grow up. More importantly what special people! Some of my best [and worst] moments were with you all out there by the Conococheague. Whether it was traipsing around in The Nothing trails, corn fights in the swamps, or camping out.

I have been kicking around the idea of a reunion for a few years now. I always have some excuse as to why I shouldn’t do it. “There’s no convenient place to have it.” “Let sleeping dogs lie.” “Will anyone else actually want to come?” ” among others.

Well, you know what. I think the reasons to have one are MORE compelling. “I really want to catch up you all.” “I want my family to be able to put faces and places to my stories.” “Time gets shorter every day.” “It won’t happen if I don’t suck it up and make it happen.”

So here it is. I’m throwing a reunion for anyone that lived on Tanya Drive, Loop Road, and Murtha Drive in the 1980s or 1990s. (Really at any time)

Let’s get together and reminiscence, catch up with each other, remark at how the neighborhood has changed (and stayed the same), and maybe bury some hatchets.

I didn’t want to make this like a club of who is in and who is out, so I’m inviting everyone!

I want to keep this simple. I suggest we just set up a few tables and have a potluck. BYOB. No events or anything. Just a few hours of conversation. Ron K said he is willing to let us set up in his yard. Is anyone else willing to share some shade and/or bathrooms?

Please “Reserve a spot” using this site. You may have to “purchase” tickets, but they are free. That will help with planning and communication. I would ask for a donation so that we can rent a porta potty.

I know this will be awkward for some. No blame, shame or shade for anyone that doesn’t want to come because it’s too weird. It will be impossible for others. I know some of you are across the world. I just hope to create the space for anyone that wants to come. I hope to see you there.
