ABOUT SCHOOL OF ROCK 

At School of Rock Aurora / DTC we believe the best way to learn music is to play and perform with others. We take students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all ages and skill levels. School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, and drums, combining weekly private lessons and group band rehearsals preparing students to take the stage in front of live audiences in an authentic concert setting. The House Band represents some of the most talented musicians and leaders at the school. They will be performing this evening! 

ABOUT OUR HOUSE BAND

Our House Band is an audition only group (13 – 18 yrs old) which represents some of the most talented musicians and leaders from our school. They have a large setlist from rock, punk, pop, soul, R&B, alternative etc and we are constantly adding new material with the goal of delivering a high-level performance on par with any professional band. A few of the venues and events they have played are: the City of Aurora’s July 4th Spectacular; Parker Days; Marquis Theater; Toad Tavern; Lost Lake Lounge; Oriental Theater; Soiled Dove Underground; Herman’s Hideaway; Elitch Gardens;  Big Wonderful; Belleview Beer Garden; and most notably, Fillmore Auditorium,  Red Rocks and the Summerfest Music Festival in Milwaukee.
